This Policy covers the Services operated by TryTheFit AI, including our AI-powered virtual try-on platform. Third-party services we integrate with—such as payment processors, authentication providers, cloud-storage vendors, and AI image-generation providers—maintain their own privacy policies. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
  • Uploaded content: photos of yourself, model images, and garment images that you upload to generate virtual try-on outputs.
  • Communications: messages you send us through support channels or feedback forms.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and session duration.
  • Cookies and analytics: we use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and a privacy-focused analytics service to measure how the Services are used. See the Cookies section below for details.

Information from Third Parties

  • Authentication providers: when you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile details such as your name and email address from that provider.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status but never store full payment card numbers on our systems.

How We Use Your Information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including our AI virtual try-on features.
  • Authenticate users and manage sessions.
  • Process payments, manage credit balances, and administer subscriptions.
  • Generate AI try-on images by transmitting your uploaded content to our image-generation provider.

  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.

For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases include performance of a contract (providing the Services), legitimate interests (security, service improvement, fraud prevention), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required by applicable law.

Images, Processing & Storage

  • Uploaded content: photos you upload (model images, garment images) are stored securely with our cloud storage provider and processed solely to deliver the Services.
  • AI processing: your images are transmitted to our image-generation provider exclusively to produce the try-on outputs you request. We do not share your images with any other third party for their own purposes.
  • Generated outputs: AI-generated images are delivered via time-limited signed URLs or equivalent access controls.
  • No model training: we do not use your uploaded images or generated outputs to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication and session management. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent the Services from functioning properly.

We also use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the Services are used. Umami does not set advertising cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifying information. It records aggregate data such as page views, referring URLs, approximate location by country, device and browser type, and product events like starting a generation or downloading a result. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. If that changes, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required.

Sharing & Disclosures

We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf to operate the Services, including:
    • Supabase (authentication, database, and image storage)
    • Google (sign-in, where you choose to use it)
    • Stripe (payment processing)
    • Fashn.ai (AI image generation)
    • Umami (privacy-focused usage analytics)
    • Cloud hosting and CDN providers
  • Legal compliance: law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including the CPRA).

International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect personal information during cross-border transfers.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Account data is kept while your account remains active. Uploaded and generated content is retained until you delete it or close your account, unless longer retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention. To request deletion of your uploaded content, your generated outputs, or your account, email us at privacy@trythefit.ai and we will action your request within the period required by applicable law.

Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Request portability of your data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (though we do not engage in such practices).

EEA, UK & Swiss Residents

California & Other U.S. State Residents

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
